In 2020 Vestigia Archaeology & Cultural History was commissioned by the Netherlands Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) to carry out an evaluation of archaeological interventions along the Dutch part of the Roman Lower Rhine and Coastal Limes between 1997 and 2020. The aim was to provide an overview of recent archaeological research both done in the way of academic studies, as well as by archaeological contractors. Through hard work, the team of specialists on this subject brought together by Vestigia, was able to provide a substantial report within 18-20 months. Initially the idea was to publish the report in Dutch. During all parties agreed that reporting in English may be better, if only to provide for the wider audience of Roman Limes research. KEWF provided practical support for the English translation and final editing of texts and figures.
The final result, published In 2021, can be downloaded as a pdf.
